SMILING SPARKLES FOUNDATION

About this Foundation

Founded in 2020 by a passionate advocate for dental health, the Smiling Sparkles Foundation is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit that is dedicated to improving dental hygiene education and access to care for underserved communities. What began as a personal mission to address disparities in dental care in India has grown into a nonprofit committed to empowering children through education and access to essential dental hygiene resources. At the heart of our efforts is a dental hygiene curriculum developed for K-8 students, introduced in schools across Andhra Pradesh. We believe that fostering healthy habits early on can transform lives. Smiling Sparkles also works to distribute dental hygiene kits to children in need and raise awareness about the importance of oral care in preventing long-term health issues. Inspired by personal experience and driven by a desire to bridge the gap in healthcare access, we are proud to work alongside local communities, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure that every child has the opportunity to sparkle with a healthy smile.

A dental hygiene kit typically includes essential items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, dental mirrors and mouthwash. Designed to promote oral care in children, these colorful kits encourage regular brushing, flossing, and overall dental health, helping to prevent cavities, gum disease, and other oral issues. 10,000+ kits have been given out so far!
